UPDATES

Due to recent developments, the team has been forced to work remotely as of March 23, 2020.  The Innovation Expo is now a virtual showcase, so check us out in the Expo App soon!

The Hydricity Team is currently prototyping a hydroelectric energy converter that has the potential to generate enough electricity to power an array of household appliances.  Unlike other forms of marine-based power systems, this device works solely on vortex-induced vibrations (VIVs), which are caused naturally.  By using this type of technology, the team can still obtain high energy density from slower moving currents found in any body of water.
